Incorporated in Washington, DC on April 20, 2010, Adept Professional Staffing, Inc. has operations in Maryland, Washington, D.C and Virginia; currently 8(a) certified, and also has certifications as a WBE/MBE/LDBE from the Washington Metropolitan Airports Authority, (MWAA), Maryland Department of Transportation, (MDOT), Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), and Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). In 2013, Adept was awarded its first subcontracting opportunity with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority and has overcome the difficulties of a startup due to this opportunity. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority continues to play an important role in Adept’s growth by continuing to offer additional contracting opportunities to grow and develop. Christine Joseph, a Seton Hall Law School graduate has over 20 years of staffing industry experience developing, training, and supervising teams of recruiters and placement consultants. Her past performance hiring practice, include fine tuning the recruitment process with systematic and job specific selection criteria. Prior to entering the staffing field, she worked as an Assistant District Attorney, in the Sex Crimes Unit for the Bronx District Attorney’s office. After relocation to the Washington DC area, she entered the staffing industry and worked for a preeminent international firm, as a Legal Director, where she developed and spearheaded a legal division. In 2010, she incorporated Adept Professional Staffing Inc. as a multidisciplinary consulting firm. In July 2018 Adept Professional staffing Inc., successfully participated and completed the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Small Business University, A Cohort Program, Project 500/1863 Ventures, a global social enterprise initiative, held at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
