About
Encouragers Family Counseling (EFC) offers mental health services to veterans, military families, foster care agencies, first responders, and many insurance providers. We also work with the faith community to offer services at greatly reduced rates through contract for service agreements. The company was founded by a female police officer after being injured on the job and forced to retire because of her injuries. As a single mother, Vicki returned to school and received a MS in Counseling Psychology. She founded two mental health clinics. EFC is the second mental health company created to assist those who have insurance, but who cannot afford to pay the high premiums and copay's. The first company, Encouragers Counseling & Training Centers is a 501c3 nonprofit (EncouragersUSA.org).
