Electrical and Day Lighting Design and Project Management for new and existing Construction projects. Lighting design and the related construction project management is a highly technical and scientific process which requires complex mathematical calculations and detailed computerized modeling that is integrated into a Construction project's overall engineering documents. HLB coordinates with the structural, civil and electrical engineers on projects to insure adequate light diffusion, power loads, controls, systems conflict resolution and energy conservation. While quite scientific, there is no state professional licensing requirement for our work. However, our designers are highly educated in the scientific aspect of light design and controls and require a BA or MSA in order to perform the work.
