The main disciplines offered include: Prehistoric & Historic Archaeology; Geophysical Survey; GIS Applications; & Cemetery Studies. Over 1000 cultural resource management (CRM) projects for a wide variety of federal, state, and local agencies, and private sector clients have been provided throughout the U.S. and several foreign countries (Poland, UK, South Africa, and Mexico). OVAI’s work has been associated with Sections 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) compliance efforts. While most of these projects were single order contracts, OVAI held a 4-year IDIQ with Wayne National Forest, OH and served as cultural resource sub-consultant for Department of Energy contractors during the same period.
